WELLS LAKESIDE COTTAGES  is a family owned and operated business reaching now into our third generation.  We opened in 1955 with 3 cottages and in the 10 years following, we grew to our current size of 17 cottages. We are the largest of our kind on Castle Rock Lake. We are especially proud of this as all of our cottages were either built or placed by our family. This includes the house where Bucky & Barb live today built in 1966. We pride ourselves on having a quiet family atmosphere ideal for the rest and relaxation we all need.   Awake in the morning to the beautiful chorus of songbirds, and greet the sun as it rises over the lake. Enjoy a day of fishing, boating, water skiing , swimming or relaxing at the beach. End your day listening to the song of the whippoorwill while sitting around a campfire where many people have met and developed lifetime friendships.
